Travel to Virginia City with several stops along the way for photo opportunities. Learn about the struggles of the pioneers of the gold rush. 
Upon arrival to Virginia City your guide will point out places of high interests to include St Mary's of the Mountain, The Piper's Opera House, Mackey Mansion, just to name a few. We will tell you interesting stories about the Boston Saloon, Virginia cities, characters of yesteryear and today, the gold rush, the details of the civil war era and the start of the new state called Nevada There will be time for you to shop and explore the town on your own.
As we depart Virginia City we will tell you the history of the Virginia and Truckee railroad on our way to the State Capital. With a short driving tour of this historic town, we will stop for lunch at one of Carson Cities most unique resaurants in town.
After we have lunch we will travel the loneliest highway in America to the Gem of the Sierra, Lake Tahoe. Your guide will showcase this one of a kind location. Learn about some of the character, such as Mark Twain, Frank Sinatra and much much more.
