This "blast from the past" allows baby boomers to relive the "happy days" and it provides an opportunity for those who didn't experience the 50's and '60s firsthand to enjoy the era.

During Hot August Nights, cars are "cherry" and cruisin' is "too cool." More than 800,000 people flock to the Event where cars are the stars and rock 'n roll rules through dozens of concerts -- most of them free -- throughout the Event.

There is a Prom night, where you can take your sweetheart and dance the night away. Controlled cruises and show-n-shines, where you can watch rolling Rembrandts on display. If you are looking for parts for your car or a classic to take home there is a Swap Meet, the Big Boy's Toy Store and the Silver Auction.

More than 30,000 motorcycle enthusiasts will roar into Reno, NV Sept. 19-23, 2007 for Street Vibrations 15th year. Ranked the 6th largest motorcycle event in the nation, Street Vibrations has more activities and more sponsor locations than ever to keep participants torqued.

Street Vibrations 2007 boasts motorcycle give-aways, a championship boxing tournament, an all female roller derby bout called Rink Rash Rally, ride-in shows, live entertainment, great food vendors, a tattoo expo, America’s Finest Custom Bike Builder’s Invitational, two different stunt show teams, Dyno Drags, and more.

The Reno Balloon Races is a great way to to wake up in the morning! Yes it is very early about 5AM but to watch these balloons lift off in the dark and Glow in brilliant colors is unbelievable. After this event you can go back to your hotel, take a nap, then head for Virginia City to the International Balloon Races. Groups are welcomed

The International Camel Races started out as a Joke, and has been going on for over 45 years now. This event is in Virginia City. The Rib cookoff is the Tastiest event we can think of. Rib Cookers from all over the country come to this event by invitationonly.  This aroma of this event can be smelled for miles around. Good music will keep you entertained while you visit the crafters along the street.  Come taste the best ribs in the west. Packages are available but limited.

   Reno is Cowboy country!  The Rodeo bring in the best cowboys from far and near to compete for a large amount of bragging rights and to help with the points to be at Las Vegas for the NFR.  This event is fun for the entire family.

Arttown is an entire month of Music, dance, paintings, expressions, poetry, readings, visions, or what ever you may call art.  It is an event that changes every day in the Month of July!
